Betsy Z. Cohen

Betsy Z. Cohen is a seasoned executive with over 37 years of experience in the financial services industry. She currently serves as the Chief Executive Officer of Bancorp and its wholly-owned subsidiary, Bancorp Bank, a position she has held since September 2000. In addition to her role at Bancorp, Mrs. Cohen has been instrumental in the SPAC sector, serving as Chairman of various boards. Since the inception of her current SPAC initiatives, Mrs. Cohen has held multiple leadership roles. She has been the Chairman of the Board of Directors for FinTech Acquisition Corp. III since June 2020, and she has also served as Chairman of FinTech IV since May 2019 and FinTech V since June 2019. Furthermore, she has been the Chairman of FTAC Emerald Acquisition Corp. (formerly known as Emerald ESG Acquisition Corp.) since April 29, 2021. In addition to her executive roles, Mrs. Cohen has been a senior advisor to her sponsor since January 2021. She has also served as Chairman of Cohen Circle’s board of directors, Chief Executive Officer, and President since October 2021.
