Dr. Avi S. Katz is a seasoned executive with over 33 years of experience in international leadership roles within the Technology, Media, and Telecommunications (TMT) industry. He has held positions in privately held start-ups, mid-cap companies, and large enterprises, showcasing a diverse and extensive career. Dr. Katz is the co-founder of multiple SPACs, including GigCapital5 and GigCapital7, where he has served as the Chairman of the Board since their respective inceptions in January 2021 and December 2020. He co-founded these entities alongside Dr. Raluca Dinu, who also serves as the Chief Executive Officer and President of GigCapital5. In addition to his roles at GigCapital5 and GigCapital7, Dr. Katz is the Chairman of the Board and Secretary of Kaleyra, further solidifying his influence and leadership within the SPAC and broader financial sectors.
